Tiny is a vibrant, clever, and alert 7-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier currently located in Bloemfontein, Free State. He has been with his original owner since he was just a tiny 6-week-old pup (which is how he got his name!), but due to urgent changing circumstances, he is now looking for a loving forever home. Tiny might be 7 years old, but he has the spirit and high energy of a much younger furbaby! He absolutely loves running, jumping, and going on his daily morning walks.
Because Tiny has spent his entire life in a home where his owner was around most of the time, he does experience separation anxiety when left alone. Therefore, his ideal home is one where his new family members are retired, work from home, or can keep him company throughout the day. Tiny is an incredibly loyal boy who will reward your presence with endless affection, playfulness, and devotion.
Tiny is excellent with children and generally gets along well with other small dogs and cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. He is also house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is pool-savvy—he is careful around water and prefers to walk around the pool rather than jump in. He is an alert little watch-dog who will let you know when someone is at the gate, but is otherwise a quiet, peaceful companion. He will bring all his favorite toys, jackets to his new home!
